# Disable scroll / overflow in Rich text component

I want to show part of a text (rich text) like a blog, but to read the rest the user should open the article to see everything.

As of my knowledge it is not possible to controll / disable the scroll function in a rich text editor component. This makes it possible to scroll the entire text in the “preview” on the front page

Please add a function to controll the scrolling / overflow in a rich text editor component

Are there any updates on when we can expect this feature? It would be useful in our solution as well ➕ **Edit: nvm, realized we can use the value processor to format Rich Text to plain text**

Hi Preben,

Is this feature still useful? A potential solution could also be to use the Rich Text component instead of the Rich Text Editor and limit the height of the component as such:
