# Enum Data Extract

Hi,

We would like to export all enums, including their IDs and values, to an external system such as Snowflake.

At the moment, the Data Extract API does not appear to be available for enums. This means that whenever we add a new enum or enum value, we have to manually update a piece of code before the data can be sent to Snowflake.

Ideally, we would like to enable Data Extract for enums or have another way to include enum data in an automated export process.

We would appreciate any recommended workaround or guidance on how to automate the export of enum data.

Hi!  
You are correct, the Data Extract API is currently not available for enums. I’ve registered an internal ticket on this to the plattform team, as this is a gap in the Data Extract API that we want to fix.

A possible workaround is presented below. It still requires some manual effort, but it should provide the complete list of enums in the solution.

1. In the Create browser window, open the console.
2. Run `reduxStore.getState()` in the console. This will return a large JSON.
3. In this JSON, locate the `enumeratedTypes`-node and copy this (right click on the node, then choose “Copy object”). This object can be pasted and used elsewhere.
