Hi When using enums I see that it would be convenient to add and use a description. There is a field for description when creating the enum, it would be brilliant to be able to display that field in the apps, as far as I can see this field is not available for use. Is this something that could be supported? (ideally also with a check if the enum has a description). Regards, Johan ---

This has been a feature request since the forum lived in Slack. It might have slipped on the way to the new forum. It would be nice to see it implemented. ---

**Enums** are very useful for classifying content and for standardizing, icons, colors and terminology across different languages. Descriptions have been part of Enums for a long time, with support for translation, so it feels more like a **bug** than a missing feature that they’re currently not available to use. Hi Olav, I’ve noticed yesterday that the description field is also available for built-in ENUMs, but it seems to mostly return null (at least on the App variables I’ve tested). Just thought I’d mention it. ---

Hi, Thanks for letting us know! We will remove descriptions for built-in ENUMs from the function editor, as these will always be blank.
