# Getting an error in runtime property when the app loads

So I am using the replace method for a runtime property. Initially, when the app loads it doesn’t get the parameters and gives an error. So I tried to solve it by giving a condition that it should only calculate when the data is loaded. The problem I am now facing is the data stays the same and doesn’t get updated even if the data is loaded later. Any idea how I can solve it?

Hi,

1. Can you send me the javascript function where you use the replace method?
2. Is the datasource database connected or runtime?
3. When is the data loaded?

Hopefully we can figure this one out with some more info 😃
