# Translation lost when text copied

Hi! Is there a reason why the translation disappears when copying text from a text component, instead of being copied along with the original text? Or is this a bug?

Hi!

Is this the same problem which you earlier reported [here](https://community.appfarm.io/t/internationalization-translations-missing-on-text-copy-paste/1843/2)? In this case, this is a bug which has been created as a challenge. I can update the challenge to say that there are several users from the Community who are asking about it.

No timeline as of yet, but the challenge is updated to say that several Community posts have been made about it 🙂
