We have set up our own audit event system, which we configure per app. When setting up, we usually copy actions and objects manually from an app with an existing setup, and do some mapping manually.
When I tried to copy and paste a single-cardinality runtime object, with Auto create enabled, between two apps, I met this little fellow (we’re running 133-0-15):
Do you have a screen recording of this happening, and your steps in the leadup to this error? This can help us to replicate the steps internally. Is the error reproducible, or did it just happen once?
Must have been session- or action sequence specific. Was able to reproduce earlier today, but now I’m unable to. Really niche issue, so probably not necessary to spend too much time on it.
I had two instances of Create running in two separate windows. First copied an action, which was successful, and then I tried to copy and paste an object when it crashed.
I see that there is no option for copying objects in the right click menu, so the issue might be that I clicked ctrl + c on the object, and when I tried to paste to the data section in the new app, the clipboard actually contained an action or something else that caused the crash.
I was able to replicate the issue now by copying an action and trying to hit ctrl + v in the “Data” section. It doesn’t look like copying a data source is possible, through the right click menu or through keyboard shortcuts, so it looks like you are right that it was an action that was pasted instead, which is the cause of the error message.
As you said, a niche issue, but I’ll forward this internally as a report in any case.
