why is not possible to copy components between custom components or from custom components to “Views” and vice versa?

This is registered internally now as a feature request from the Community 
In the meantime, you can follow these steps as a workaround:
- Drag the custom component into a View
- Right click and “detach”, so that it is now a “normal” component
- Now you can copy the component within views
