What is the default sort order of results from advanced search?

If nothing else is stated in the “Sorting” option of the Advanced Search action node, the score given by the search is used as sorting. I.e. the item matching the search term best (a score given by the database). We do have a feature request to be able to map that score back, in order to e.g. visualize this score, or to perform sorting based on score in combination with other properties.
