Release Notes 164

Solution-bound accounts

Custom auth providers can now be solution-bound. Users who sign in through a solution-bound provider get an account that exists only in that solution and is identified by your identity provider rather than by an email address, so the provider doesn’t need to send an email claim. Choose Global or Solution-bound when you create the provider. See the docs.

Handle error responses in Web Request

Web Request can now handle status codes outside 2XX directly in the node, without a Catch Exception. Add an entry under Additional responses for an exact code such as 404, a range such as 4XX, or default, give it its own mapping, and choose whether the action continues or fails. The new Status code property stores the HTTP status of every handled response. See the docs.

Flow DevTools

Start a run straight from an action with Test run on the action’s Triggers row. Loops now show what each action node did across iterations, how long it took and which iteration was slowest, and the Data panel can expand to a full-window view. Schema inputs can be entered as JSON. See the docs.

Development data access for Appfarm AI

An Owner can let Appfarm AI read record values in the Development environment, so it can answer questions about your data and match existing records when it generates more. The values are sent to the AI model providers Appfarm AI uses, and Test and Production data are never read. The setting is off by default. See the docs.

Aggregate tool for the Agent action node

Data source tools on the Agent action node can now aggregate data. The agent can count objects and compute sums, averages, minimums and maximums over the properties you grant, optionally grouped, without loading the objects. See the docs.

Full-text Search in flows and larger Flow endpoint requests

The Full-text Search action node is now available in flows. A new environment setting, Max payload size for Flow endpoints, raises the request body limit for Flow API endpoints from 1 MB to up to 50 MB.

Improvements and bug fixes

Apps are more resilient on unstable connections: changes made during a short network drop are no longer lost, and apps that can’t start show a clear error with Reload instead of a blank page. Action run logs show exceptions handled by Catch Exception, and Chinese (Simplified), Malay and Czech are available as languages. Fixes include drag and drop in custom components, selection outlines and popovers in the designer canvas, and home-screen apps on iPhone and iPad reloading in a loop after a release.
