SSO email verification

We are setting up an SSO for a customer, and they reacted to the fact that they need to verify their email with Appfarm.

Are there any ways of customizing this view and this email? Or avoid that flow altogether?

In this example, my email is already a verified Appfarm User, so I don’t really see the need to verify it again?

Unfortunately, there’s no way to customize this particular view or email. This is an extra security step when using a custom authentication provider in combination with logging in with an email address that already has an Appfarm account (exists in another Solution). If the user doesn’t exist in another Solution, they won’t be prompted with this confirmation step.

Not having this extra step could enable an attacker to set up their own custom authentication and hijack Appfarm accounts.

Fair and understandable. However, I would expect to be able to customize it.

The email template could be under the other email templates in the Login configurations.

At least for our case, where we have changed name of the company (Morescope) but the solution name is our old name (xIQ). I understood the solution name is hard to change, anything we could do there at lest?

I would at a minimum like our name and/or logo to be present in both views here for the customer to recognize the login verification.

Understandable request. The email and verification screen have no customizability as of today, but I’ve filed a feature request with our development team and linked to this post.

Short term, is it possible for you to change our Solution name from xIQ to Morescope?

We’ll update your Solution name to Morescope! The only thing that can not be altered is the solution shortname, but I see that you have custom domain activated anyway.

Yes, I haven’t really seen the Solution name visible to customers until now, so we should be good for now.
