Autofill in Select blocks

When using one or more Select blocks, users report that external autofill features (such as AutoFill from iOS or Google Password Manager) do not work as expected. When clicking on a Select block in an app, the option to use autofill appears; however, when selected, the value is not transferred to the Select block. Instead, the selection field turns yellow (see image), which causes confusion. This issue appears to occur in both mobile and web applications.

This has come to be an expected feature for most users given the common use of autofill services in other applications. Is this a feature that could be added?
