For access on the app level in an environment other than Develop, users need to have a custom role which is NOT one of Owners, Maintainers, or Developers. Users need to be given a custom role, for example “Admin”, and granted access to the admin app, and login access in the correct environments.
Was there also a deploy overnight which maybe had something to do with permissions, or roles, which could lead to this suddenly happening?

There was no update on permissions with the deploy. Also all people trying to access have the custom access of admin which has production env access.

As far as we can see, there is no general issue related to this. Could it be that you have 2 apps deployed with the same Readable ID?
If not, can you send some screenshots of the Permissions (Permissions .-> Apps, Permissions → Login)? And, is the admin app a “Normal App” or a “Config/Admin App” (stated in App Settings → App Type)
I have checked all the readable IDs now and none are the same. The admin app is an admin/config, which it always has been.

Let’s take it on DM from here! It is not a general issue I believe, and there is no change to access of config/admin apps elsewhere.
