Update using role from service

Hey There

i was trying to create a service to update role for a selected user. i have no error when launching it, the full action works but nothing is updated

here is my action (simple just for test)

i’m running it as an “Admin” rôle for test ( from a button or directly from Service Devtools) , means that i have no permission restriction to update or change.

here’s what my update user account contains

I’m encountering the same issue where no role is assigned to a user account when creating or updating a user from a service

Hi!

Yes, I am also able to reproduce this. Registering a challenge on this one, and will keep you posted (on workarounds or when this one will be patched).

Challenge on this one is prioritized. Workarounds: manually adding those roles to the user in Create, or do the same Update User action from an App.

Will keep you posted once patched or when patch is scheduled.

Sorry for the delay, but it was included in the release just launched instead! So it should be all good now.
