How to change active language persistence from “None” to “Local Storage”
Hi Haider!
It is not possible to modify the persistence of the built-in App Variables. What you could do is to create your own app variable of type language, for example Active Language (Local Storage), and change its persistence local storage.
In your On App Load action you could then use the Set Client Language action node to update the client language to your Active Language (Local Storage) app variable.
Hope this helps!
Hello Erik!
My question is now, if i log out of the app and log in again it goes back to the “client language”, is there a way to keep it to the user selection and not the client specefic everytime. exaple: I log into the app and it is english by default since my client language is english, now i change to norsk in the drop down, but when i log out and then back in, I would like it to still be norsk.
If you need to save the user’s preferred language across devices, tabs and browsers, you would have to save the language selection to the database. If you already have a “person” (or something similar for extending the user object) in your data model, you could add a Language property to this object and use that field to set the client language instead of an app variable.
