I have a line chart which maps a percentage over time. The issue arises when the percentage dataset comes from several sources at once - for example, if I have a fraction of 1/3 and 3/7 from two distinct sources describing the same counts, I want to show the fraction 4/10 in the percentage. However, the aggregation function’s closest attempt at solving this is the average aggregation - but given the data is in percentages, this will not be as intended unless the divisor of the fraction is the same in each source.
I had a similar issue in the footer of a table containing percentage data, and this was solved by using a custom function for the footer value.
As such, I hope to see such a custom function alternative for the line chart in the future.
