Localize push notifications

Hi!

We have an app for a Norwegian company where we use push notifications. The push notification format currently follows this standard structure:

Title
Message
From: AppName

We would like to localize the “From” part into Norwegian. We have tested on different phones, each using Norwegian language settings, but the “From” field still appears in English.

Is there any way to change this label in Appfarm, or is this field controlled by the OS (iOS / Android) and not customizable?

In regards to the structure: From: AppName

Is this the property where you choose the relevant App (red rectangle in the image above)?

If so, is your goal to translate the AppName into Norwegian?

For example, if the AppName is Apple → it returns Eple?

Let me know if this is the wanted outcome. If not, please explain the concept more in depth! :grinning:

In the image you can see that it says Title (“Ny melding”) “From” AppName. The text “From” is what we want to localize to Norwegian. Hope this was more clear :smile:

Hi again,

Thank you for the clarification. I tested this in Create, changed the language on both my phone and browser, and checked with the dev team to see if this is possible.

When testing on Android, the “From” text did not appear in the notification. However, it consistently appeared on iPhone. Indicating that the problem might be related to the OS.

Unfortunately, we do not have a quick fix for this feature at the moment.

However, I have created a challenge on this topic so that the devs team can delve more in depth on the topic :slight_smile:
