New version banner pops up again when it should have been dismissed

When a new version is deployed we get "en ny versjon av “app” er tilgjengelig - LAST INN PÅ NYTT.

when clicking last inn på nytt the page reloads but the banner re-appears. I can click many times “last på nytt” and it happens again. However if I click the close icon to the right, the banner disappears.

I took a screen recording. Let me know where to send it (videos are not allowed for upload here)

I have seen this issue multiple times, new version banners re-appearing after the page has been reloaded.

This is Chrome on Mac.
