I have a Rich Text field that will store a long text. I would like to take out the first 30 characters and use them in a text field as a preview of the content of the Rich Text field.
Does anyone know if this is possible? And how can I do that in that case?

Sadly this is not possible today. Rich Text is stored in the database in a special format, and we do not have functionality for taking out a number of characters per now.
