User sessions logged out after Appfarm release/deploy even though they should not

We are using Appfarm as an “always logged in” app on users mobile phones (employee app) and on tablets/PC-s in outlets, serving as punch clocks. We experience that after deploys, user sessions get logged out, even though they have not actively logged out, and they are well within the max logout session time. This is a big problem for our client.

After last night release we also experienced that shortcuts to our app stopped working, displaying “app not found. After going to the (same URL) and creating a new shortcut, it works.

This app has been used daily (except sundays) with the same shortcut on the same machine since May. When this happens it causes severe issues at our clients, costing time and money since they are dependent on other people to get PIN (long story, but that´s how it is…). This issue has been reported some times already, both on the “punch clocks” but also on the users app on their cell phones. Ideally we would have logged in forever on the personal phones as every time someone has to log in again, they get frustrated with the app (many users are not very tech savy)…

The devs team has been notified. Could you specify if this happens after every release/deploy or just after the last release?

Unfortunately Im not sure about exactly how often it happens. But it has been reported several times over the past months and the incidents seems to be linked to deployment. Not sure if it has something to do with new Appfarm versions or not.
